Welcome to Ashland Hot Yoga

Ashland Hot Yoga is a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming community. We offer many different types of yoga to meet the variety of goals and needs our students bring to their mats. Our intention at Ashland Hot Yoga is to empower Southern Oregon’s yoga community through our classes and workshops.

All teachers are encouraged to bring their own unique style to each of their classes. No two teachers or classes are ever the same!

NEW! Yoga Flow at Garfield Park! (Donation-based)

Join us at the park for a donation-based yoga class every Tuesday & Saturday 10:30am-11:30am☀️ Bring your practice outdoors with Crystal as she leads you through a 1-hr yoga flow 🦋

Moving our bodies is so important for our health! Meet us at Garfield park where we will unite our breath and move our bodies together. It has been a tough year… come breath some fresh air with us and enjoy this yoga flow 🌼 There may be live music at this event!

We will be practicing under a cool, shaded area.
For safety/sanitary purposes, we ask that you bring your own yoga mat and to give yourself plenty of space from the person next to you.
You do not need to sign up in advance for this, simply just show up!

Hot Power Flow

Power Flow is an uplifting and energized class designed to cultivate an awareness of the breath while moving through dynamic and mindfully transitioned rhythmic asanas. Cultivate strength, flexibility, and mindfulness during this well-rounded yoga practice.

Come sweat, detoxify, and deepen the connection to your inner and outer strength!

All levels welcome! Take this class to the next level or take the modifications offered!
THIS TYPE OF FLOW IS A GREAT PRACTICE FOR BEGINNERS OF ALL AGES AND PHYSICAL CONDITION, AS WELL AS FOR ADVANCED STUDENTS.
Some teachers keep this class more upbeat while some play soft music.

High Vibe Yoga Flow

High Vibe Flow is a strategic class that will take you on a fun and effective journey. The rhythmic style of sequencing along with the sound of some rowdy good jams, will help you dive into the moment of your movement and breath. This strengthening, enjoyable flow invites you to step outside of the box and deeply strengthen your body and focus, all while having fun!

Enjoy the groovy music and the high vibes this class offers!

This class will help broaden your exposure to a variety of yoga poses and their variations

Radiant Flow

Vinyasa, or Flow yoga synchronizes movement with the breath. In this class, we will be flowing a slower more mindful way, really connecting with the breath and body for a well rounded yoga practice that will leave you feeling radiant inside and out!

Come as you are and deepen your connection to your inner and outer strength!

This type of flow is a great practice for beginners of all ages and physical condition, as well as for advanced students.

Hot 26

Hot 26 is a beginner level class created for total body health, done in a room heated to 105 degrees. This sequence is part of a larger series of postures in the Bishnu Gosh lineage. Hot 26 works to increase strength and flexibility in joints, tendons, ligaments, muscles, and bones, while also providing a cardiovascular workout. The spine and pelvis are targeted areas in all postures.

Every Hot 26 class offers the same postures every time. Witness the improvement in your strength and flexibility every time you take this class.

The benefits of these specific postures are plentiful!

• Improved Flexibility

Stretching after you warm up your muscles is safer than stretching cold muscles so, in a hot studio, it can make the yoga poses easier and more effective. It can also allow you to stretch a little further with a greater range of motion.

• Improved Blood Circulation

The increased circulation of fresh oxygenated blood this class will bring will nourish the internal organs, improve function of the heart, and detoxify organs of the body such as the liver and kidneys.

• Metabolism Boost

These postures will increase your pulse rate and metabolism, allowing your blood vessels to become more flexible and charges your body to burn a lot more calories than usual. This can lead to weight loss and a better functioning body!

According to researchers at Colorado State University, the calorie burn can be as high as 460 for men and 330 for women during a 90-minute Hot 26 yoga session.

As we improve circulation to the body’s organs through practice, our organs become stronger and better able to combat disease and illness. During our practice we are in effect removing all toxicity from the body through our sweat, and are able to keep our body in a more pure, alkaline state that has been proven to ward off disease.

This class is appropriate for people of all ages, body types, and levels of experience, including those with injuries who are looking to heal the body.

Hot 26 Express

Hot 26 Express is the 60 minute version of the 90 minute Hot 26 class. In this class, each posture will be done at least one time. This class is great if you are short on time or if you are interested in the Hot 26 series but do not want to do the full 90 minute class. You will still reap the benefits of this series!

Hot 26 Silent

Hot 26 Silent is a silent version of the 90 minute Hot 26 class. The Hot 26 Silent class is recommended for those who have experience with the 26 series. This class is not recommended for those who have never taken a Hot 26 class before.

This class will offer little to no instruction.

Feel yourselves move together in harmony. Many describe this class as dancing together in beautiful unison.

Feel yourself connect deeper with each posture as you let your inner-knowing take over.

Yin Yoga

This class is a perfect introduction to the heat if you are a beginner!

This is a still and chill practice with an emphasis on applying moderate stress to stretch the connective tissue, bones, tendons, fascia, and ligaments. Yin uses mindful muscle relaxation to challenge the body to surrender and the mind to open and relax. While some poses are challenging, this style is accessible to all levels and bodies. Most poses are done on the floor and held for 3-5 minutes allowing the connective tissue to release improving circulation, flexibility, and clearing the meridian channels. Yin, at it’s deepest, quietest, stillest moments, is a mental and emotional practice. This is the perfect balance to our fast-paced culture as it switches the nervous stem from fight or flight to rest and repair, deeply conditioning and nurturing our adrenals and other organs. If it’s difficult for you to destress, sit still, or meditate, this practice is for you!

Yin & Sound Healing

Self love is the basis of all transformations, frequency is how our souls evolve. This class is designed to create a union between body, mind, and spirit. Through restorative practices and harmonic sound waves, you can open yourself to a new vibration of being.

Pilates

“Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that combines deep breathing with gentle stretching to boost strength, balance, and mobility. Workouts target your “powerhouse” (your abs, lower back, pelvic floor, hips, and glutes), but you’ll hit other areas too.”

Strengthen your muscles, improve your postural alignment, and deepen your flexibility (the heats helps greatly with this) during this 60 minute pilates class. This class offers precise movement with intentional breath that will give you a full body workout. Increase your core strength and endurance and expect to feel strong, balanced, and stable after you’re done with this class.

All levels welcome!

HIIT Pilates

Warm up your muscles and get into the flow easily in this Pilates class. Pilates is known as one of the best workouts for flattening and strengthening the lower belly while also toning the rest of the body. Engage your muscles in a strong but gentle way as we lengthen, tone, and crush your core during this heated workout session.

Expect killer abs, better posture, toned muscles all around, and even better flexibility. This Hot Pilates class will leave you feeling strong and powerful. Expect to get addicted.

Barre

Barre uses movements inspired by dance, yoga, and pilates to bring functional strength and stability to your whole body. A non-impact exercise regime, Barre protects bone health, increases lean muscle mass and challenges endurance. Each 60 minute class offers a series of postures to work your legs, core and seat, upper body, and stretch. This class is for all levels, modifications are always offered and encouraged. Every class challenges your body to reach a new level of strength and endurance, and encourages you to care for yourself by being exactly where you are.
