I have never done hot yoga before, is there anything I should know?

Congrats on trying something new! You are going to be hooked in no time. Hot Yoga is nothing to be afraid of. It is extremely beneficial to the body and mind. Since this is your first time, you should know that it is normal to feel dizzy or light-headed during class (this usually passes after about 2 classes). If this happens, just drink water, lay down, and join back in with the class when you are ready. It is also important to remember that what the teacher is offering (such as poses) is only a suggestion. Do what feels right for your body. Take care of yourself and don’t worry about what everyone else is doing. Take breaks and modifications when you need them. You’re going to do great!

Make sure to bring a mat, towel, and water bottle to class. Mat and towel rentals are available at the front desk for $2

.

What should I wear?

Most female students wear shorts/leggings, a sports bra, and a sports tank. Most male students wear shorts and a shirt or they can be shirtless. Wear whatever YOU feel comfortable in. The only thing we ask is that you do not wear ONLY underwear into the yoga room.

.

I think my pass expired or I’m worried about my pass expiring before I can use them all.

Give us a call/text and we will extend your expiration date for you!

.

Are you offering extensions on passes?

Yes! Anyone who needs an extension on their pass can get one! Just let us know by text or email and we will extend it for you!

We don’t want anyone’s passes to go to waste!

.

What is your cancellation policy?

You must cancel at least 4 hours before the class start time. If you do that, it will be an early cancel (the pass goes back into your account), if you cancel within the 4 hours or you decide to no-show, the pass will be taken from your account.

.

Can I book further ahead?

Yup! When you are looking at the class calendar , click, “Full Calendar,” and it will show you classes months ahead!

.

How do the waitlists work?

After a class fills up, you have the option to be put on the waitlist for a class. If you are on the waitlist and are then added to the class with plenty of notice, it is your responsibility to either cancel if you can’t make it, or come to class.

.

Do I need to pay or have a pass to be put on the waitlist?

Yes. If you do not have a class pass already, it will prompt you to buy one. If you don’t end up making it into class, the pass will go back into your account so you can use it at a later time.

.

What if I get the notification too late (2 hrs before class start time) and I can’t make it to class?

If you are notified close to the class start time and you feel there wasn’t enough notice, cancel right away. If it takes a pass away from your account, send us a text or email and we will fix it.

.

How do I know if I made it into a class from the waitlist?

If your notifications are turned on, you will receive an email or text as soon as you make it on the list. You can also check by signing into your account on our website and clicking “Schedule,” or go on the MINDBODY app and click on the class you are inquiring about and it will either say “Waitlisted,’ or, “Booked.”

.

How do I turn on notifications so that I am notified that I made it into class?

1.) Go to our website

2.) Click “Book a Class”

3.) Scroll to the class calendar and click “My Account,” and sign in

4.) From here, scroll all the way down, turn on notifications

5.) Click save

I’m worried about my health, should I come back and practice?

That choice is completely up to you! Your health is YOUR responsibility and if you are concerned about getting sick, it may be best to stay home. Do what you feel is best!
